Client
The Novell Client should be installed by experienced technical
personnel only. Although the Novell client usually installs
without incident, problems may occur with your system requiring
advanced knowledge of the client software and UTSW network.
Pre configured for UTSW
Simply run the executable and the client will install with
the appropriate settings for UTSW already configured.
Macintosh Workstations
No client software required use SMB/CIFS protocol to mount volumes. See This table can assist with IP address from this page.

Macintosh Root Certificate error Fix
- If you are getting a root certificate error when using Mac Mail or other client to access GroupWise IMAP/POP server you can download and add this certificate to fix problem. Download file and double-click on icon and you will be prompted to install in keychain. Please Call IR Call Center at (214)648-7600 if you have any questions.
WARNING: Do not
install the Groupwise client software on a PC where the Outlook
full client (not Outlook Express) is installed and used for
accessing an email account other than UTSW Groupwise mail.
Advanced configuration is needed for the two to coexist on
the same PC. Note that Outlook is not a supported application
at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
